Legal Report Requirements - The minimum professional requirements set out by the BC provincial government are very basic.

Standards of Practice (SOP) - A number of home inspector’s associations such as CAHPI, HIABC, ASTTBC, CSA, CanNachi, and InterNachi ensure the inspection standards are elevated and standardized in throughout the province, Canada, and across North America. The SOP is sometimes also referred to as a Scope of Inspection. Each associations’ SOP are very similar to each other’s. We include a copy of our SOP with each inspection report and require our clients to review the SOP before they agree to our contract.
